Welcome to No.3 St James

The name No.3 refers to our address in St James’s Street, London: the home of Berry Bros. & Rudd since 1698.

As Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchant, Berry Bros. & Rudd has traded from this same shop for over 300 years.

It has seen many famous visitors pass through the doors, from Lord Byron to the Aga Khan.

The shop is little changed and traces of its history – including important documents and artefacts – are on view today.

THE PARLOUR & ITS KEY

One of the shop’s oldest chambers is the Parlour – in many ways, the inner sanctum of No.3 St James’s Street.

For 220 years this is where Berry’s partners would come to sit together, eat and discuss business. Many great drinks originated around the parlour’s dining table.

The key on our bottle was inspired by the key to the door of the Parlour – a symbol of both our rich history and the great trust that customers place in Berry Bros.& Rudd to deliver the highest quality products and service.
